An excellent prologue before the film

As we know The Batman is a year 2 film where we will see a younger up and coming Batman, rather than another origin story and going from there with the franchise. This book serves as an excellent prologue how Battinson became the man we will see in the movie, how he begins his mission and ultimately how he begins as Batman. Batman’s origin story is one almost everyone knows, and this one does a good job of sticking to the details of that while making it feel fresh and modern. We see a man solely consumed by his mission to clean up Gotham and meet the key characters of the film in between. No one is more determined than Bruce Wayne, and this franchise will make no exceptions to that. Looking forward to the movie in a month! Any bat-fan will enjoy this book with a new telling of Batman’s beginning moments and the shaping of Edward Nashton. Enjoy!

An Epic Prequel

Extremly excited for the movie. The book does an amazing job showing the orgins of Batman and Riddler.

Nice setup to the film

It’s a nice prologue and a cool back story to Riddler and Batman. Don’t expect an epic show down or anything crazy. Just setting the mood of the film.

It Begins...

I like the great detail in the past of the Batman movie this novel dives into. It is also great to see or this case hear 2 points of view from both The hero and the villan.
Along with hearing that this is apart of the movie thats a start to its on saga I can't wait to see this universe expand as its only just the beginning. I'm pleased to have given this a listen as I better understand the movie more !

A Nice, Thought Out Prelude For The Upcoming "The Batman" Film

The subtle hinting towards the film was definitely interesting, and the story of this will surely intrigue and also subtly introduce to fans how the next iteration of Batman on the big screen will look/feel like.

A good companion to the movie.

But, even though it’s a “prologue” to the movie, I feel like it’s best listened to after you’ve already seen the film.
5/5 all around.

Great appetizer!

I really enjoyed this book! I have always been a huge Batman. For everyone that can't wait to see the new Batman movie, this is a very good appetizer before we get the main course.

Nice little Story.

I do like this little Book the story was good. I do liek the angel they are goung for with Bruce in this. so I cant wait for the movie.

The Batman

Hella good story i really liked how it gave a pre-story. I know that’s the whole point but it answers a lot of my questions from the film. Definitely worth the credit.

The story and characterization are decent. I'd say the author is a real Batman fan. The writing is clunky at times. E.g., "He had to work alone" is shoehorned in there with no real segue. The performance is excellent. Overall, worth a couple hours.
