If diamonds are a girl’s best friend, Jill is a diamond
I have paid attention to the Frox store front for years. It never fails to lift my day. On occasion I would enter the store with a lady friend who would marvel at the fresh styles and walk out with a purchase. All along I’m thinking what is the back story and how did this happen in the small town of Perkasie?
Now I know how it happened! A great tale of sticking your neck out, taking risks, seeing opportunities and diving in; even when not knowing the temperature of the water!
It is a concern her father doesn’t come across very well. This seems to be a common thread in several of the autobiographies I have read recently. The tough dad needs to make his children tough through mental and physical abuse. The scar tissue is revealed within the success story. However, contrary to popular belief a knit broken bone is never as strong as before the bone broke.
This is why the diamond metaphor; carbon under extreme pressure eventually becomes a diamond.
Thanks Jill for sharing your story. I trust it will encourage others to take that chance, work smart and hard - to realize their dreams.
