There's one thing about zapping into another person's body. There is a sudden pop, and then you gasp and you feel your blood pressure rise suddenly, then you stabilize. I think it has to do with your mind taking over the body. You have you mind, and it is used to handling your body a certain way. Then the mind is zapped, or uploaded, into a new body. And there is some confusion as it gets used to the new body. Much like when you install new hardware into the computer. Or a software update. It takes a while to adjust. Uploading the mind into a new body? That may be a good analogy. If you want to say that the human soul is like software. Let me introduce myself. I'm B. H. Wrencher. A while back, I was the victim of a body-jacking. You know, hijacking, car-jacking, body-jacking. My boss-woman, Big Momma Jane got a hold of this...—well, if you are familiar with my story, I've had to sign a nondisclosure agreement about what exactly happened. And the CIA had to censor my story. But what happened is that my boss body-jacked me, stole my body and put me into her body. It's a lot more complicated than that. But there I was, in her body, feeling rather odd. This body-jacking aroused the interest of some powerful people. Again, hello there, Mr. nondisclosure agreement. But I was in her body, and then eventually got swapped out. End of story, right? No. About two weeks after I was back home in my body, and feeling like myself, I get this email from Agent Adelpha Vasil. She's one of the secret agents. She wants to have dinner with me. Since I have no social life whatsoever, I agreed. Plus she is hot. Tall, Greek, green eyes. She's quite a gyro sandwich with baklava thrown in. We meet at a classy restaurant. Then the normal small talk. How are you doing? What did you do with the reward money? You getting over the trauma of being swapped into your boss's body for a month? Then she slowly hits me up.
