Bernard Marks and Martha Alford met by chance. No real reason for it, just a series of fluky coincidences. The odds were long that they would hit it off. A Really Good Story
What a story! Martha, the author, is also a wonderful reader telling the story of her life as much as Bernie's. Both are remarkable people. Having someone else read Bernie's lines and those of the other male characters made it come alive.
