Resumen del Editor
Hannah has a routine. Wake up, take a shower, go to school, go to work, come home, and pass out.
It's a perfectly normal routine for a perfectly normal girl who does not have to remember how her limbs work every morning because of haunting nightmares of being a very different creature in a very different world. That's all she thinks they are—nightmares—until one night, they're all too lucid, and her body on Earth starts to change. Slowly, Hannah's humanity starts to slip away... but surely she can continue just sticking to the routine, right? It'll be fine. It has to be.
A mix of urban and traditional fantasy, Bioshifter is a story in two worlds, with magic leaking in from one to the other. It's a story about love, self-acceptance, neurodivergence, and a whole lot of trauma. Strap in and enjoy!

Historia
Dorky, socially awkward entomology student Evelyn wakes up one morning to find herself as some sort of alien-human hybrid trapped on an unknown planet. Once the initial panic winds down, she quickly learns she's capable of producing more of herself: additional bodies all sharing one mind. Being well-versed in sci-fi tropes, she quickly resolves to not devour the planet and turn into an unflinching biological armada, and instead uses her new powers to try and help as many people as possible. Unfortunately, it turns out that helping people is often very, very difficult.

Historia
After quitting her job as a therapist, Tess's life became pretty slow. A tad boring, even. It thus came as no small shock to her when she was chosen by a god. Suddenly thrust into a new world where magic, monsters, and character levels are par for the course, Tess will find that simply surviving can be a challenge. It doesn't help that dark forces are stirring, she's woefully underpowered, and spiders keep trying to claw her face off.

"Kill. Kill them all." It's the first four words Lars usually wakes up to every morning, a voice telling him she's just giving him a "quest" that will help him "level". But even if he wanted to do it, he can't. They're cultivators: beings with ancestral bloodlines that have powers he could only dream of, while he is stuck as a puny human. Even if he could kill them, the people who bullied him, beat him, treated him like a punch-bag pariah for being a "tailless worthless human", he wouldn't. That is, until a vicious group of murderous psychopaths called a "sect" descend on his village.

Lucas was just your typical guy slowly approaching his 30s. Due to the budget cuts in his company, he had been laid off, losing his job as a project manager and team leader. Just a common occurrence, not like it bothered him. But he certainly didn't expect to get scouted by another company soon after. Through the RPG game he was playing during a free afternoon? Even less. In the span of a few hours, Lucas' perspective of the world was turned upside down. Things that shouldn't be possible were happening right in front of his eyes. Monsters were real. Dungeons were real.

Nature is dying. Perhaps before the world is turned into an industrious machine, nature itself can play one final trump card to save itself. Summoned to a new world, a mushroom-loving mycologist needs to grow up and grow stronger in order to accomplish the goal that brought them to this new place: to save nature from the system that the sentient races have created. Stats, levels, classes, and skills are all well and good, but when you're a Child of Poverty in the slums of City Nineteen, there's little you can do to change the world. Not unless you're willing to think outside the box!

Defeating her rival, the victorious Arke prepares to claim her prize, the powerful God Seed. To become the greatest, he must make the other dungeon cores submit to him. And that means shattering their jeweled hearts. Or seducing their avatars. amazing thank for more excellent work
Well, I was really excited about this title. I love the cover art for it. And I didn't know much about it. Other than the description that it gave you. And I didn't go online to look up any other details of it and just decided to pre-order based on what information that I had the time. To my surprise, it was made by my favorite people who made Vigor mortis. and hive minds give good hugs. Had you told me that before? There would have been no question I wouldn't. Double down my pre-order on it. So I've made it a quite nice surprise when I found out. At the end of the book. Overall, it was fantastic. I really love the 2 worlds. I love the main character and the horrible stuff that she deals with in both worlds. This is a very interesting, isekai And I love how it's presented to both worlds. Upon her sleep not gonna lie. I thought it was a little mental at first I was hoping that it wasn't her imagination or her going crazy but an actual different universe how cool. So she has to deal in this is a lot different ways. Honestly this book is a 10/10 for me I love the writers .I really can't wait to see what you all produce next.

20hrs have never gone faster
Author is amazing.
Narrator is amazing.
Very unique in that there are 2 POVs but both are the main character.
The author(s)? (idk the previous series had thundamoo as an alias of Natalie) are really good at handling and representing neurodivergent characters.
They are also masterful at world building, although I do prefer the hard magic of vigor mortis this was done really well.
I’m just disappointed I have to wait til the next book comes out.

good world , infuriating mc
the characters and world are great. even the mc has interesting things about her. the only problem is she is so inactive until the last 6 hours. the mc is based on routine and supression which makes for a completely reactionary story. add anxiety babble and you will be wishing for her to eat someone so something will change in the 10 hour run on sentence punctated by fantasy world building.

I despise the character, but still a good book
Let me say this. I loathe the main character. She's a whiny, self entitled, little drama queen. Everything she does is slightly stupid. Ever interaction she has with anyone is cringey. I hate literally everything about her as a person (not the whole gay thing that's whatever).
And yet, it's a good book overall. The narrator knocks it out of the park. I want to know what happens next. I never feel like the book is spinning in neutral. It's a good book if you can get past the protagonist.
The plot is basically 2 stories. In one she's a normal girl turning into a monster bit by bit. I call this plot the B plot and it overstays it's welcome by a large margin. It's primary purpose is to characterize her and it does so well, but adds nothing more to her characterization as the book goes on. It slides into building romances and teen angst drama with no clear purpose beyond childish suspense of if the parents will catch her or not. The A plot meanwhile is that every time she goes to sleep she wakes up as spider monster in a fantasy world. This is a good story with an interesting setting, neat characters, and good action. She's still pretty annoying here but she can't really talk properly so most of her stupid social interactions are limited (this does not apply to her inane thoughts). It does at least bleed over into the B plot some which is nice but could stand to have more of an impact on B plot then it does.
As an aside, the story is very LGBTQ+ to the point of being a little silly. Every character is either autistic or part of the community. Which is absolutely fine and logical. Weird social outcast girl who is barely a functional human being would probably surround herself with people she thinks can relate to her at least a little. The issue is that the story is treading a fine line towards being pandering and making things gay/autistic/etc for the sake of it. It largely avoids it, but a character towards the end leans more into it out of nowhere which is weird given the near apocolyptic events happening. The reveal (if the writer thinks its important to the story) would have been much better suited towards the middle of the book where it had time to breathe instead of slamming it down like it's just as important as the massive events going on in the end. Made worse by the character having some more pressing issues that aren't concluded in the book. There are also other instances of this tonal whiplash sprinkled throughout the book. Particularly when MC is freaking out about being gay instead of growing monster parts. She has been gay her whole life, I figure the whole rapid mutations should take the front seat for a bit since it's new and life altering. It's also not really a major deal nowadays really.
Also for some reason the Author included a lot of specific cultural references that won't age very well (given how specific they are) and seem to be in the book solely to state opinions on them. Which is fine as they aren't terribly intrusive but they are noticeable.

Underrated author by orders of magnitudes
I don’t love fantasy, but Natalie Maher is the exception. I like her characters, her flawed, intelligent protagonists, and how she makes the reader feel their emotions. Her stories are unconventional and wholly captivating.
This one is funnier, and felt more personal. However, Hannah is more than a bit edgy and political (woke), very much realistic but slightly irritating to me.
(I miss Jessica Almacy as the narrator but Sarah is fantastic also.)

I really loved this crazy book
Natalie Maher did such a good job with crazy eldritch body changing dysphoria that I thought she couldn't top it, but this one certainly does. I love the crazy, neirotic MC going through shennanigans in 2 worlds and their gradual bleedover. The magic system was unique and fun with no stats or anything like that. I very much enjoyed this book, though moments were pretty stressful at times, and I had to pause it for a couple days and come back to it. There is just enough humor to add relief to the horror, and the narrator does a fantastic job bringing that out as well as all of the unique characters. I will definitely be getting the next book in the series whenever it comes out.
