Blockchain technology is the future, and while most of the world is putting their money in traditional retirement accounts that are either public or private, this is a waste of time because central banks around the world are conducting both public and private open-market operations to keep a floor under the market in conjunction with printing money at unprecedented rates. There's only one way this ends, and it will not be good for anyone, especially those who have not seen the light. Thus, monetary gains in all asset classes are a result of inflation at this point, but none are more spectacular than the cryptocurrency sphere. It is possible that cryptocurrencies could all go to zero, but the tech community has been quicker to react to changes in regulation than any other entity in history. The blockchain not only solves wealth preservation problems, but it is so much more and will revolutionize commerce, contracts, fractionalized investments, etc... The most important part of blockchain tech is that it keeps all investors honest, it cannot be stopped, and it can be used by all members of the human race!
