Captain Nemo is the fictional life story of one of Jules Verne's most memorable characters from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and The Mysterious Island. Very entertaining and fun. Cool story and great narration if your a fan of Verne you'll enjoy this book.

Steampunk Forest Gump

Kevin J Anderson has a unique voice for retelling or adding to the stories of others. This delightful steampunk Forrest Gump is a delightful romp through the 1800s and the works of Jules Verne.

Fun journey

Their book was fun to listen to. A bit slow in some parts but picks up quickly. I enjoyed the narrator a lot and will look for other books by both author and reader.

Excellent Adventure Story!

My husband and I loved this audio book! We listen to a lot of audio books, and Jim Meskimen is the best reader we have ever heard. The story is long, but not tiresome. The adventures are vivid and exciting! An excellent book, and excellently read!

Wonderful Story

amazing story that holds up to the expectations set by the previous novels by juels verne

Entertaining

Interesting story that was woven together seamlessly. it is not a literary masterpiece but it is entertaining and fun.

Good backstory for Capt. Nemo

Anderson has crafted a plausible back story to Verne's intrepid Captain. The historical references and detail are woven well into the fabric of the story without seeming haphazardly out of place or inserted as an after thought.

Just wonderful

I had difficulty stopping myself while listening to this book. The story was so compelling, and the narrator so effective that I just couldn't stop.

The story itself seems to tie together the works of Jules Verne very well and answers some questions I've had since my youth. True, this is a work of fiction, but the way this story was done puts that concern at ease.

The only thing unfortunate about the story is that Jules never got to experience the wonderful adventures he wrote about. This story however tells us that he might have experienced a few after all.

Fun, Well-written and great narration

Would recommend this in a heartbeat!
Enjoyed listening to this very much my kind of book. We'll put on my good reads list.
