When the investigation turns to the past instead of the present, Aunt Tillie refuses to talk and a long held Hemlock Cove secret risks being exposed. Bodies start piling up as old grudges overlap with new clues and the Winchesters are caught in the crossfire.

Bay is determined to clear her great-aunt's name but even she has her doubts when the victim's ghost points a finger ...directly at Aunt Tillie. It's all hands on deck for an explosive showdown that proves some secrets are best left buried. Bay just hopes she won't end up buried, too.

I always enjoy each new installment

I always enjoy each new installment. Amanda M. Lee has a brilliant mind and always comes up with new ideas for her quirky characters. Hollis McCarthy, as usual, brings it all to life. If you like paranormal mysteries, you enjoy this series.

Why?!

Why ruin a perfect pairing that has lasted several books by changing the narrator?!!! I have listened to other series narrated by Hollis McCarthy and enjoyed her, but she does NOT fit this series. I almost stopped listening to this in the first two minutes because of how deplorable the narration is. Please go back to previous narrator. This series is a favorite of mine, but if this continues I definitely will not purchase any more, sadly.

It's A Real Shock At First!

I hate to give bad reviews but I have no choice. We all Live our favorite characters and get used to them especially when we listen so it bothers us when that changes. With that in mind I really didn't like this change. I think she does not do the characters justice. It sounds like yogi bear and the 2 blondes with some aristocrats thrown in. Very Disappointed!

horrible narrator

Why I loved the book I can’t stand the narrator. While some voices are similar, Bay sounds like a toddler and Thistle sounds weird. I just can’t get past the narrator. Please go back to the original narrator I might stick to just to the kindle version. Audible 20 Review Sweepstakes Entry

Story is Wonderful, Narrater is not.

I know this author had to change narrators, but this one is not good. Clove sounded like a whinny baby, and Thistle is way to butch. As for the narrating 1 star!
The Story it's self is good, as always. She is a great author. As for the story 5 Stars!

Terrible narrator

Narrator is terrible. It effects the storyline. Why change narrators now in the series? Bad.

I love this series but

They changed the voice of the narrorator. And it's like nails on a chalkboard to my ears...

The narrator is too whiny

I like the story but the narrator was so annoying! Her male voices were horrible. Don't know if I will use Audible again.

Love the author and the story line ... but

Not a fan of the new voice talent. At all. What the heck did she do to Thistle??? And don’t get me started on Aunt Tillie! I started listening to this 9 months ago and had to press pause. Needed the time to get the previous voice talent out of my head. Worked a bit, but not completely. Am hoping she gets better over time. She really doesn’t seem to know the characters.

Hard to listen to with current narrator.

Aris is the best narrator by far. It's hard to get used to this narrator once you've listened to half the series with Aris. May not listen to the rest of the series for this reason.
