But they always brake for trouble, and when Minnie sees a car speeding away down the road, and soon comes upon a dead bicyclist, she assumes she just missed seeing a hit-and-run.
Minnie is determined to discover who was behind the wheel, but it soon turns out that things are far more complicated than they seem, and there's more to this case than meets the eye. Luckily, this librarian is ready to read the killer his rights.

Loved it
Who doesn’t like spending time with Minnie and Eddie? Laurie Cass has created a wonderful world and I enjoy spending time with the characters,
Erin Bennett, as always, gave a great performance as she brought the storyline to life gave each character their own distinct voice .

And the story continues
as usual a very enjoyable murder mystery featuring Eddie, the cat and Minnie. How she manages to get herself mixed up in murder solving is always interesting. this one of course involves bicyclist and retirement. Doesn't sound like they go together, right? Well in this case it actually does. Also Minnie makes a new friend who happens to be the police chiefs wife. The engagement continues and all seems right with the world except people keep getting murdered. Also Minnie needs to find a new partner to work in the Bookmobile with her.
