Alex King, Leadsänger der legendären Neunzigerjahre-Rockgruppe Lizard, gibt eine Party auf seinem prächtigen Anwesen in Cherringham. Gefeiert werden soll das lang erwartete Comeback der Band. Doch statt Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n Roll gibt es vor allem Streit - mit einem tragischen Ausgang: Im Morgengrauen treibt Alex tot im Pool seines Anwesens. Für die Polizei steht außer Frage: Es handelt sich um einen Unfall unter Drogeneinfluss. Aber als Jack und Sarah von einem Bandmitglied gebeten werden, Nachforschungen anzustellen, entdecken sie bald, dass auch ein guter Song tödliche Folgen haben kann.
Folge 23 - Eine schlechte Partie:
Als der begabte junge Künstler Josh Andrews nach einem Streich anlässlich seines Junggesellenabschieds vom Platz des Cherringham Golfclub verschwindet, bittet die verzweifelte Braut Jack und Sarah um Hilfe. Bis zur Hochzeit sind es nur noch wenige Tage und keiner weiß, ob der Bräutigam kalte Füße bekommen hat oder ihm etwas zugestoßen ist. Bald jedoch wird klar, dass Josh nicht der ist, der er zu sein vorgab - und dass der Golfclub eine größere Rolle spielt als zunächst angenommen. Jack und Sarah bleibt nicht viel Zeit, um Josh zu finden - und zu verhindern, dass jemand das Gesetz selbst in die Hand nimmt...
Folge 24 - Ein Trauerfallin der Familie:
Als der gebrechliche Harry Platt bei einem Treppensturz zu Tode kommt, sieht alles nach einem tragischen Unfall aus. Doch Anwalt Tony Standish wird misstrauisch, als er entdeckt, wie groß Harrys Nachlass ist und wer seine Erben sind.
