Astounding

Incredible story, very well written, of amazingly good and brave men. I’ve read so much about WWII yet learned so many new things.

An excellent tale of the British SAS.

I really enjoyed this book. I have a great deal of respect for people who work in the world of spec ops, the SAS, for all practical purposes wrote the book on the subject. I found this to be a really fascinating book.

This was definitely worth a listen. These men were remarkable in their work and dedication to winning the war. It’s opened my eyes to the true unsung hero’s of the 2nd World War

The heroic story of the SAS 1 is both well documented and read. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in WWII history, specifically the bravery of the SAS.

This book brings my father’s war stories to life! No wonder they were called the greatest generation. What brave and courageous people they were.

AMAZING STORY AND AFTERMATH

This is an incredible story of the SAS during WW2. Some of the exploits almost seem like a Hollywood movie, but it is the true account of some incredible men and women. The British army is not in the best light, and the Germans are really in a bad light. This is well worth the read and will be read again.
