Excellent audiobook for kids and adults alike!

This is such a cool audiobook for history lovers! As a non-American, I only know the basics of the Civil War, but I have always found it interesting. After listening, I have learned about many new facts, stories, and heroic figures from this critical period of history. I love how the book is written in a way that makes the stories engaging and fun, as it uses the likes of sports games to explain how the events occurred and the feelings and sentiments of both sides. This is where the book shines for younger kids, allowing them to understand better and relate to the stories and characters.

I enjoyed all of the chapters, but my favorite has to be the amazing animals of the war, as I was not aware of these facts, and as a big animal lover, I was intrigued and found the stories entertaining. The narration of the book is also very well done, making the content easy to take in and understand for any age group. Very impressed with this book!

I thought the book was really well done. Always focusing on how to engage the kids, it was never boring. Even I learned quite a bit! I really liked the chapters exploring different famous people during that time. The author clearly knows and loves history, and you can tell! Well done! The narrator's voice is quite easy to listen to as well.
