Clean Slate is the second book in the Diva's Ink trilogy. Each book is a different sister. I read the first book (Blank Canvas - Ariel's book) quite some time ago and I jumped on the chance to read Emory's book (and I can't wait to read Beautiful Template - Rainey's book). Clean Slate goes from crazy to insane with a ton of twists and turns. Marcus is former military and now a firefighter. When he responds to a fire he gets more than he bargained for. The mystery unfolds from there. Liberty Parker proves what a talented author she is with this compelling story.

Marcus and Emory

Cade and Simone Cohen are new to me, I was not disappointed. Their narration was perfection, they absolutely brought these amazing characters to life.
This is a sweet, endearing, heartfelt, and emotional story. Marcus and Emory are already in a relationship, this is their journey of unconditional love and loyalty. This book had the perfect amount of drama, suspense, intrigue, and of course romance. I absolutely loved everything about this book.

Book 2 - Diva's Ink

This is book 2 in Parker's Diva's Ink series and is the story of Emery and Marcus. While this can be read / listened to as a stand alone I think you will get more from the read if you start with book 1 as it gives a good into to these characters and some background that is brought up in this read as well. Emery is one of three sisters who run a tat studio and Marcus is the alpha bad boy with a heart of gold who loves her. Danger invades the lives of these sisters once again. Will Marcus be able to be the hero she needs him to be or will she fight and claw her own way to safety? Sweet romance and sizzling hot chemistry this book is sure to please. Great dual narration - i mean these two did GREAT! I can't wait to see what's in store next...

love this series

Marcus has been dating Emory, She tries to push him away. He doesn't understand, since they were getting along fine. Emory didn't want him to find out the devastating news that she is ill. She didn't want to be a burden to him or her family. This story is about how devoted And in love he is with her. Her sisters are there for each other no matter what. How love overcomes all obstacles in life. There is romance with danger, angst, drama . This is the second book in the series Divas Ink. I would recommend reading the first book, since the characters are interconnected in this series.
Cade and Simone Cohen are new narrators to me, they are excellent vocal performers. they really brought this story to life! Every emotion, every voice , every character was perfection! They flawlessly transitioned from one character to another. I was gifted this audio by Story Origin and offered my honest review

Wonderful Story

Another wonderful story from Liberty Parker! Emory and Marcus started dating during the first book Blank Canvas. They are in love but there is an issue that could keep them apart. Emory is pushing Marcus away because she is ill and doesn’t want her family to know. Marcus follows her and finds the reason she is pushing him away but refuses to let her do it, she needs him now more than ever. Marcus is a firefighter and during a search and rescue he finds a little baby in the fire. Come to find out the woman he found before the baby was her mother, she did not make it. Marcus and Emory visit the baby in the hospital and both decide they want her. There is still a mystery that must be solved because it puts the whole family in danger. Very enjoyable story! The narrators did an awesome job, I like two narrator for a story to cover the male and female leads. I look forward to the last book.
