Crazy Perfect Audiobook

Great audio book! Was recommended this by a friend who read the book and was happy to see the audio book came out. It was extremely enjoyable! The narrator took me on a romantic journey that won’t be forgotten soon. Highly recommended if you’re a fan of the genre

I’m obsessed with this book

I read this as a stand alone and loved it. I definitely want to listen to book 1&2. Pax and Charlie’s love story is unconventional to say the least. Brothers best friend falling for his sister leads to much drama. Most of which I didn’t see coming. I loved the narration for this book also.

It’s been a minute since I read a light romance and this one was amazing! I loved it so much! The emotions and overall story had me wanting more and more as i kept reading!

I honestly loved this and highly recommend!

Fantastic Story & Listen🎧 Riveting & Heartfelt!

This is a fantastic brother’s best friend’s younger sister romance novel, the story drew me right in grabbing my attention and captivating it for the entire book. Melissa Toppen is a gifted author, I enjoyed her writing style and the characters and storylines she created, they are interesting, realistic and easy to relate to. This book is the third of her “Crazy Love” series, it is my first and I was able to enjoy it on its own, I didn’t feel like I missed anything because I have not read or listened to the first two books, but characters from those books appear in this and it would have been nice to have known them already, I will definitely get their books soon, I loved this world the author created and the camaraderie amongst the characters. Paxton Stewart is best friends with Gavin Porter, Gavin’s family became his family, but his feelings for his younger sister, Charlie, morphed into something more, but she is totally off limits to him because he can not jeopardize Gavin’s friendship. Charlie has crushed on Paxton for as long as she can remember and just before she left for NYU she had a night to remember with him, a dream night that would be their secret. She returns home and finds her feelings for Paxton are stronger than ever, the feeling is mutual, but Paxton is torn between his feelings for Charlie and his loyalty to his friend. But the chemistry between them is electric and they could only deny each other for so long. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a beautifully plotted story with plenty of heartfelt emotions, drama, relationship, family and a crazy ex coming back in the picture and a romance that is meant to be. Melissa Toppen, thank you for another wonderful book and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧 📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Erin Thomas is a talented narrator and a versatile voice artist. She does a great job bringing these character to life, giving each their own distinct voice and personality, making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. I loved how she took each role and made it her own, sounding believable in every role she played and just as I pictured the character to sound. She set the perfect tone for the story, captured all of the characters emotions and projected them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the great listen.

hiding secrets

THIS is the love story of Charlie and Paxton.
Paxton couldn't keep her Charlie off his mind ever since their time together while in Vegas.
When she came home from college, his feelings for her that were hidden, resurfaced.
Paxton knows Charlie is forbidden since she is his best friends little sister. Gavin is very protective of her.
He doesn't want to lose Gavin's friendship, so their only choice to see each other was to sneak behind his back.
Charlie is hiding a dark secret that follows her from New York.
There is plenty of emotions: guilt, friendship, betrayal, fear and love in this story to keep my interest.
Erin Thomas narration is good.

my brother's best friend/my best friend's sister

A favorite trope by a favorite author. I loved this story...almost. This was the first book I've read in this series. I loved Paxton and Charlie, but I really disliked Gavin, Charlie's brother. He was such a hot head. Maybe if I had read the other books, I'd feel differently. I got a little lost with the timeline. I'm certain I'll listen again at some point to see if it was distraction that made me loose time. I certainly didn't want to pause the book! I was heartbroken for the abuse Charlie went through with her ex. Trigger warning for physical abuse. Enjoyed this audio!

Erin Thomas is a good narrator. She didn't try to force voice changes which was great, but at times it got confusing who was speaking. As a whole, she did excellent.

Wonderful writing.

Melissa Toppen is a wonderful writer who includes just the right amount of angst in her books. This story was highly enjoyable. I listened straight through, and enjoyed the narration.

Second chance, forbidden romance

This was a second-chance forbidden romance. It had a lot of nice things going for it, but there were also some things that really made me uncomfortable as the story went on. I loved the forbidden love, "my brother's best friend" aspect of this novel. While I'm not a prude, I felt the swearing went past "that's how people really talk" to overuse of swearing. I also really felt like we understood why the heroine may have been attracted to an abusive ex, as one of the protective men in her life really crossed the lines to controlling in an abusive way as well.
