It took four years, thousands of hours, many tears, revisions, and distractions, but I finally finished my book. I had no idea God had so much to say to us ladies until I began going through God's word, verse by verse, while preparing the different sections of Created to Be His Help Meet.

Many times, as I read a passage, I would say to my husband, “I'm not going to include those verses in my book because if I do, the ladies (of any religious group you can think of, including my own) will not like my book or promote it.” My dear husband would then say to me, “If God thought it was important enough to inspire it as part of his word to us, then you should include it.” And so I would cringe and add one more controversial subject after another.

So, in obedience with Titus 2, where God commands the aged women to teach the younger women, I have obeyed and given you the very best I can do: 27 chapters, including letters from my readers, recounting of counseling sessions, wisdom gleaned from my daughters, my own very personal stories, and, of course, the word of God.

It includes subjects as varied as planning meals to answering extremely intimate questions.

Blessed beyond measure

Very intriguing, taught me a lot of things that I needed to know. i.e. the sovereignty of God in relationship to my future husband.

A True Blessing

I wish they had more books from this author on Audible. This book was a blessing to my marriage and we are reading it together at our church and it’s already a blessing to many of the women at our church. I highly recommend this book. They also have one by her husband for men as well. Which has been a blessing to my husband.

ouch!

I can't say I loved this book... it hurt pretty bad. after 43 years of marriage I had gotten somewhat complacent in some areas. this book gave me a fine tune up! God is amazing to bring it at the perfect time. my husband is soaking it all up and thriving as I implement these areas that were weak into my marriage. you can't go wrong with their advice because they take you right to Scripture.

Powerful truth that can sting to hear. This book will change your life and make you reevaluate your mindset. Debi speaks biblical truth. This is a must read for any woman who wants to live a God honoring life.

Very Encouraging

While the audio quality was not the best, the content of the book exceeded my expectations. I felt convicted by many things in this book and my marriage is improving because of it and the changes I’m making.

this was a great book it's a bit old fashioned for us today lady's but it gives great advice on how to be a wife witch is something most of us today don't know how to do since in this day and age we don't get that teaching.

Good book

The narrator was really hard to listen to but overall a decent book. Would still recommend.
