Syssi's visions

I think it's cool that leon could go to project in to an animal's mind. Anna is definitely putting a lot of things together. My last review said stella when I meant Eleanor.. She is still super hot and cold and very abrasive, I guess I need to know more in order to understand her. But so far, her and wendy are my least favorite. I thought it was pretty cool that we got to see what happened in the cult with Emmett. Although I was expecting a little more. I definitely thought he was immortal. Not human. Turn out there is definitely more there. That will soon be unfolded, and that syssi's visions seems to be coming to pass.

This was so exciting! Who is Emmett or more importantly what is he? Leon and Anna’s story continues, as well as their love, but is she a dormant or not? Then there is Margaret. Why does she seem familiar to Bowen? I love the continuity of this series! Every book builds on the last!

Rescuing not one or two, but three damsel's in distress. Such adventure and romance rolled into one great story.

Great series and Narrator !!!!!

It's a shame that I've caught up to the series because now I have to wait a whole month for next book. I absolutely love this series and it just gets better and better. I can read these books on my kindle for free but I just love the narrator he makes the characters come alive for me. My favorite is Kian's voice. I can recognize all the characters before the narrator says whose speaking. I ,can't wait till next book !!!

So many new threads

Turns out Losham doesn’t want to go to China and had came up with the scheme so that he can get Lokan out of his way and take his position in Washington. Losham is scheming and lets Lokan in on some of what he is planning. “Fashion” as it won’t govern much scrutiny and will allow the brotherhood to start to integrate into the leadership. It will also solve the issue of not being able to have Carol with him.
While Lokan talks with Turner and Kian. Kian comes up with an adjustment to the plan of Lokan taking Carol with him as a marketing expert. Jin and Mey are working on their own fashion label. She and Mey can go as fashion experts. And with Jin’s ability she will be an asset. So even though the clans interests aligns with Navuh. Neither wants China to advance with their global agenda.

With a rescue mission to recover Eleanor and Peter from Safe Haven as usual things don’t always go as planned. Emmett got away with Peter as his hostage and Eleanor recovered. Anastasia asked for Bowen to watch out for her friend Margaret. Poor Margaret ended up with a shattered knee with immediate surgery
required. Bowen being Bowen won’t leave her until he knows she will be taken care of. Should be fun to where that goes.
Peter is recovered in a comical way. (Could just be me. LOL)
I’m excited to see where all the new threads go. Who and what is Emmett really? And who are his people?

So many immortals and dormants being found

I wonder how many will be found and the story of where and when they came. I also liked listening to this book and how the Scottish names are pronounced. The narrator, Charles Lawrence, was easy to listen to though his female voice wasn't. Looking forward to the next book.

Leon and Anastasia .... Part 2

Dark Haven Unmasked is book 48 in the Children of the Gods series and the second in the Dark haven trilogy. The story of Leon and Anastasia continues.

After escaping Safe Haven, Leon takes Ana to the mountains where he can woo and possibly induce her transition. Leaving Peter and Eleanor to figure out what is up with Emmet Haderech and tease out the secrets of Safe Haven. When the Guardian, the Outsider and the Leader find out each other secret no one feels safe. Love this where this story line is going, and how new characters are being woven into the storyline, another 5 star review from me.

I highly recommend reading the Perfect Match spin-off, it will enrich the reading of this trilogy.
