Yamanu and Mey--the finale

This is a paranormal romance and is the thirty-fourth in the Children of the God series and is the second in the Dark Queen trilogy. Mey finally get to transition, but there is a twist with it. The Clan goes on two missions on each coast, Mey and Yamanu go to the East coast to find Ella's aunt and possibly try and retrieve Jin. So much going on…awesome job Ms. Lucas

Yamanu and Mey beautiful Love Story

It was very beautiful the way that Yamanu and Mey’s Beautiful Love blossom so effortlessly between them. Once they decided they could trusted each other and their Love for one another, nothing could stand in their way of becoming One! I also love the way Mey just knew beyond a doubt that The Clan was the family that she belonged with. Yamanu making Mey feel that growing fangs was very sexy, was just what Mey needed from her wonderful mate. Maybe in future books I. T. Lucas will give Mey and Yamanu 10 immortal children, (like Alena) but from the prospective of the mother and father raising a large family.

Oh wow, is Arwel falling for the enemy? I truly see them falling for each other and having a large tale to talk about how they fell in love.

Just keeps getting better!!!

Yamanu is desperate to test his shrouding abilities since he’s worried they might not work well enough since he broke his celibacy vow. In order to test them William of all people is going with him to a college and have him use a megaphone and recite slam poetry in front of cafeteria. LOL!!!! Not getting the results they needed Yamanu he decides to abstain from sex until after he is needed. Mey decided to help him by upping his need for sex. After doing the next testing and confirming his power is back to full strength. So he decides to pay her back for all of her teasing. (This gets interesting) Mey finally transitions.

Mey decided to work at the cafe while Yamanu is working. She meets Nathalie and baby Phoenix who is really no longer a baby (2 years old). She is absolutely adorable. ;) She asks a lot of why’s which adds to adorableness.

Magnus and Vivian travel to San Francisco to look into the house they assume Kalugal and his men as living in.

Kian has been looking into Elle’s aunt Eleanor and sends a few Gardians to follow up on a lead they figured out.

Kian is planning a retreat with Syssi, Arwell, Mey, Anandur, and Brundar along with their mates are heading to a ski vacation in West Virginia to use as a cover story in order to find Eleanor.

During Mey’s transition her mouth starts to hurt horribly. It looks like she is getting fangs. She is so sad that she’s not transitioning like the others.

Areana, Amanda, Syssi and Wonder come to visit Mey in the medical center. She lets them know she is growing fangs. With her confession Syssi becomes alarmed. She thinks that her vision was about Mey growing fangs may have something to do with her vision about the Krall.

Syssi explains that she and Kian are owners of a virtual reality company called Perfect Match. One of the virtual environments is of the Krall loading the Odus into a spaceship. Their supervisor a tall majestic woman with fangs. She also mentions that ever since the drowning accident, she noticed that Okidu and Onidu have some peculiarities she’d never seen before.

They find Eleanor but find her to be extremely angry and hostile.

Oh and Dulhu decides that even though he never snow skied before that it would be good to go to the toughest trail and compete with Kian. It did not end well for him. ;) silly guy.

The team struggles with finding a plan to save Jin and the other dormants.

I love the books and I appreciate that the story goes on and on I like a world and characters I can continue to follow

An exciting turn of events for Mey and a great cliff hanger into Jin’s story! I loved Yamanu and Mey’s story and his sensitivity and love for her. Once again a great story in this series!

Let’s skip to Jin

So the story of Mai and finding her sister Jin continues. I feel like there’s lots of filler in this story and I just want to get to the part where they recover her sister and see where that leads! I enjoy the series but this was a bit drawn out without a juicy bang as I usually expect.

Kian is growing as a person is a great way, more sensitive to others. I love that he is consciously working on it. I just love Ananni! the search for Mey's sister and Kalugal continues. This was such a fun mission to go on with them. I love the whole fated mates bit in general, and the loyalty/ addiction and the whole biology of it all. Seriously, this has become my favorite series/ saga. I need to read the next now.
