I feel like I know them!

This is such a well written book that I’m sorry it ended. The author does a very good job of providing history but also a human view of these womens’ lives. Worth the listen!

Well Done - An Enjoyable Listen

I enjoyed everything about this. A great story about interesting women. I find the father daughter relationship between Edward I and his daughter Joan super interesting.

Well researched and dramatically portrayed. I found this to be a highly enjoyable read. I recommend this book to anyone interested in this period.

Thoroughly enjoyed book of unknown descendants of Edward I. Also the narrator was very good.

fascinating!

Loved this book for its focus on the daughters and their relationship with their father. King Edward and Queen Eleanor were terrific parents for that age. It’s lovely to see how the king truly loved and cared for his daughters even beyond the grave. They clearly were superior in judgment and character compared to his son.

Enlightening and a great listen!

Women are so rarely covered in the history of this era, and this was fascinating. It’s a great combination of social and political elements.

Christine Rendel’s narration was brilliant!

it was amazing information

amazing information about a set of Royal princesses that you thought wouldn't be interesting or was possibly known I thought it was very interesting and did enjoy listening to it it's parts of History I know that was just elaborated on and I just found the intimate amount of information interesting probably not for people who aren't already in a deep love of History but I thought it was informative and well put together

I loved this book

You hear about the knights in shining armor and the kings, but very seldom do you hear about the women. I really enjoyed this book that followed the women of king Edward, the first I loved hearing all about the history of what they contributed their children. I’m a true history lover, so I hope you’re a true history lover. If so, you will really enjoy this book.
