Resumen del Editor

Dawn's Revenge is a thriller set in the New Orleans French Quarter. Jack Chandler, a struggling young lawyer who takes every case that comes in the door, learns that his housekeeper's beautiful teenage daughter has been brutally raped and murdered by a ring of child molesters. The powerful sheriff of Orleans Parish condones the crime and attempts to silence Jack, who seeks to get justice in spite of attempts on his life.

Knowing they will dispose of her body, Jack steals it to carry it to an expert who can testify as to the crime. He borrows the pickup camper from his Cajun friend, Nookie Naquin, to escape the Sheriff's goons set out to kill him. During the most dangerous hurricane in a century, Jack goes on a terrifying trek through the marsh and swamps of the French and Indian back country. In Dawn’s Revenge you will be immersed in the color, sensuality and feel the pulse of the Quarter’s dark mysteries; You will see the intrigues of Louisiana politicians, thrill to a biracial romance and smile at Nookie Naquin, the carefree Cajun. You will love the charm of the Cajuns, the reality of Voodoo in present time, the bright and dark side of New Orleans, man eating alligators, real snakes and political ones,

The author lived in the mysterious New Orleans French Quarter for a number of years, where he learned its ways, its secrets and its dark corners unknown to the outsider. Jack didn’t know that Dawn had many followers, who knew something he didn’t suspect that is revealed at the hair-curling end of the book. Danger, mystery and voodoo will keep you from pausing until the shocking, unexpected twist at the end.
