Just didn't work for me.

For some reason I struggled to get through this book, cannot put my finger on why, just did not hold my interest.

Loved it!

An old fashion “who done it” complete with sweetness and romance and a twist at the end!

not a bad story...but honestly this has to be one of the most incompetent detectives alive...still a fun listen.

Narrator

If your main character is a woman, you should really have a female narrator... and one who doesn't sound like a tv detective from the 1940s.
It's hard to get past, even with a decent storyline. This one is just okay

I have read almost all of Mr Woods books through the years. This book is not up to the level of his other writings.

Full of suspense! Great read!

I liked this audiobook a lot. The reader was a little old fashioned but it worked out well

Nothing

I would like return this piece of crap. I find the more I pull from the Stone Barrington series the less I’m interested in. I have about 5 or so that I would love to return, but I didn’t think you could return them. When you consider the number of Barrington books I wanting to return 5 not a bad number. Regardless
I’m considering canceling my subscription.

I wish the Stuart Woods who wrote Chiefs would start writing again. These series he has been writing have stopped being interesting and the characters have played out.
