Meh
I know this got a lot of good reviews but it was a big disappointment to me. I thought I found a new vampire series but it could not compare to my favorite one of cat and bones. I’ll be seeing about returning

Poor Narration
I don’t know how to describe it, except to say the the narrator’s tone of voice, inflections, etc detracted from the story. I don’t plan to listen to any of the other books in this series

Narrator thinks a pouty voice is sexy.
Narrator uses a pouty voice she , or the director, thinks is sexy. It's not. it's irritating - especially during the fight scenes.
Story wanders all over the place and has lots of gratuitous sex scenes. I'm not saying I don't like sex scenes just that sex outdoors in the grass when you know something is out there hunting you and plans to murder you is too unbelievable.
