Not for me

Honestly, this feels inspired by The Darkness comic book and Romeo & Juliet. I still don't understand how the Light thinks the Darkness is evil or confuse them with demons. They choose to be ignorant most likely.

what a ride!

this was such a fun story from start to finish. highly recommend! the complete version is the way to go

great narration

story was predictable but fun. tried the book because Andrea is one of if not the best narrators.

an excellent premise

as I said the premise is excellent, it's also worth mentioning that the narration is very good too.

The weak point is it's one of those stories that relies on the characters doing stupid things to progress the plot.

I know that bothers some people more than others, it's not a huge deal for me but if it weren't for that I could have listened to a story twice as long and still wanted more, but as it stands 3 books was enough and a good deal for a single credit.

Really not my thing

Didn’t enjoy this listen at all, I can sorta understand that other people like it however.

Overall I liked the series

The only weakness was the 3rd book. It felt really rushed. I enjoyed the slow burn romance that while predictable was still fun.

The Narrator is Phenomenal

The narrator made this adventure series very enjoyable. The story was solid and pacing was good as well. I always Enjoy Harmon Cooper’s stories and the way he approaches “regular” storylines with mentally stunning imagery with his own original style while keeping regional and cultural nuances that allow a creative full immersion for the reader to get lost in a fantastic tale with real world overlap. This has been an enjoyable series that didn’t drag out with unnecessary filler. 💎⭐️

I want a mantle

this is such a fun and thought out story. Andrea smacks it out of the park om this one and brings life in ways I didn't think she could!

Holy smokes the Emotional Rollercoaster in a good way.

This series did a great job making you feel for the characters and what they went through or were going through. The rollercoaster that you go through was well worth it. Loved the story and was worth it to buy. The balance of fighting and emotional situations outside of combat was done well with them family dynamic, the different relationships between the characters, the internal and external conflicts and the character growth all were executed very well. The voice acting was spot on and the voice actress is very talented andaking each character sound and seem like different people. Long and the short of it is this was a great series and I would recommend to anyone thinking about getting this series.
