was ok book 1 is making me not to finish it all.
book 1 the men were weak, the one character that helps her get home went from a rancher who had horses to weak, not knowing anything, and not what he started out like. the main character is ok. she is definitely in charge. nothing wrong with strong women. but her character just annoying. the book does not truly show how bad the shtf around people. she is near gary Indiana which is high crime and near Chicago. there would of been more violence and groups people leaving cities for the country side. just finished the first book and it was a disappointment.
