This is NOT a typical book on religion. It does not seek to convert listeners or force its perspectives on them. It is an open-minded presentation of facts for the consideration of the faithful and agnostic alike.
This program is an attempt to define or give a modern interpretation of sin by viewing it through a multitude of viewpoints, from Western Christianity to Eastern philosophical religions as well as New Age thinking.
Throughout the program we'll discuss:
- The concept of liberation versus salvation
- What relevance does karma play in salvation?
- How does reincarnation come into play?
- Is the Judeo-Christian model of heaven and hell accurate?
- Who defines sin for us, and can this definition be put to a test?
- Could our current definition of sin come from a more pragmatic origin than we were originally told?
