Die neue Supermacht der Milchstraße entsteht - und erreicht die Bleisphäre.
Mehr als 3000 Jahre in der Zukunft: Längst verstehen sich die Menschen als Terraner. Mit ihren Raumschiffen sind sie in die Tiefen des Universums vorgestoßen und dabei immer wieder außerirdischen Lebensformen begegnet; ihre Nachkommen haben Tausende von Planeten besiedelt und sich den neuen Umwelten angepasst.
Perry Rhodan ist der Mensch, der den Terranern diesen Weg zu den Sternen eröffnet und sie seitdem begleitet hat. Nun steht er vor einer seiner größten Herausforderungen: Er wurde mit seinem Raumschiff, der RAS TSCHUBAI, vorwärts durch die Zeit in eine Epoche katapultiert, in der Terra und Luna verloren und vergessen zu sein scheinen.
Mittlerweile hat er in einem Zwilling unseres Universums die beiden Himmelskörper wiederentdeckt und es mithilfe der Staubfürsten geschafft, sie in den Heimatzweig des "Dyoversums" zurückzubringen. Aus dem Mythos Terra ist wieder Realität geworden.
In der Milchstraße eskaliert derweil die Situation: Die Cairaner und andere Mitgliedsvölker eines fernen Sternenbundes, die derzeit in der Milchstraße den Ton angeben, versuchen ihrerseits in dieses Zwillingsuniversum zu gelangen. Für ihr Trajekt, wie sie es nennen, brauchen sie das Supramentum und den unsterblichen Arkoniden Atlan.
Um das Supramentum zu erschaffen, haben die Cairaner nicht nur den Raumer THORA nachbauen lassen, sondern auch biologische, optimierte Duplikate der Besatzung angefertigt, einschließlich Atlans. Mithilfe von Jasmyne da Ariga gelang es diesen, den echten Atlan in ihre Hand zu bringen. Nun entsteht DER GOLEM...
