Alexandra Zöbeli wurde 1970 in der Schweiz geboren und ist im Berner Oberland aufgewachsen. Ein Sprachaufenthalt in London infizierte sie mit dem Großbritannien-Virus, der mit Übernahme des eigenen Gartens vollständig ausbrach. Zusammen mit ihrem Mann lebt sie im Zürcher Oberland und arbeitet als Sachbearbeiterin einer Schulverwaltung. Ihre kreative Seite lebt sie auch beim Seifensieden, Gärtnern, Nähen und Basteln aus. Aber ihr liebstes Hobby ist das Schreiben, weil man dabei die erstaunlichsten Abenteuer und Geschichten erleben kann, ohne dass einem Grenzen aufgesetzt sind. "Ein Bett in Cornwall" ist ihr erster veröffentlichter Roman.
