Shark Bait (hoo, ha, ha)

To start, because it's always the most mentioned... yes ✨️the✨️ shark scene is messed up, yes it's a TW, yes they do mention it is messed up, no it's not romanticized.


NOW, love love love this book and was so stoked to find it coming to Audible. The narration was excelent, and while I did picture Sawyers voice higher pitched than what this is, it's still enjoyable (also the tone of her voice is never detailed, this was just in my own head). It's hot, it's steamy, it's got murder, it's got mystery, it's got gumption... give it a try! you won't regret it!

The Bean Gods Approve

I had this in my kindle but when I heard it was here I listened to the sample and bought it with my one credit. If you’re new to spice I would suggest reading the triggers before dipping your toe into this one. I adore this author and this was a fantastic read. Sawyer cracked me up constantly and the accent(and speaking Italian) for Enzo was drool worthy. But I also really liked the story/plot. There were also some very sweet moments mixed in with the intensity. Bravo🤘

Romance with substance

I liked that this book had substance to it, which is typically lacking in the romance genre, but the story felt a bit scattered to me. There were a lot of details that had no impact on the overall story and after finishing, I feel like a lot of fluff could have been edited out and it would have made for a better plot. An enjoyable listen nonetheless.

At first I thought, “oh, this is a murder mystery?” And then after the accident I thought, “”ugh, this’ll be a mushy love story” and then I was like, “boy was a gleefully wrong! Pretty hilarious actually! Yet, still spicy!” And THEN I wondered, “is this a ghost story?!” And then I was like, “wtf am I reading?!” And then I was like “oh noooo! That’s terrible and sad!” And next I was like, “Oh that old man is crazy AF!” And then….😩 because how could they not take on the peg leg man?! And then I was like 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲🥴🥴🥴🥴

Needless to say, it definitely kept my on my toes and was really good! I waited to read this WELLLLLLL after reading the Cat & Mouse as to not compare the two.

WOW

I actually went into this book blind and decided to listen to it instead of read it. I am so glad I did. The narrators were amazing and brought this book to life better than if I read it myself. and can we take a moment and appreciate Troy's voice wow. a must read or listen to.

I loved it.

The book was a little odd but I really enjoyed it! Troy Duran and Michelle sparks really made this book come alive. The spice level is 5 stars.

Dark romance queen

I swear HD knows how to write the best dark romances. Stranded on an island with a man you slept with and then stole his identity? Only to end up with an even more dangerous dude?!? Like whattt. So dark and I loved it. Also this audio is great but terrifying. I had to cuddle my husband in certain parts haha.

this is now my comfort book

idk what to say except this book shocked me with how much i LOVED it. it's the first book i've finished so quickly (three days while on vacation) in literal months. probably gonna listen to it again and again.

My body left my soul a few time!! Absolutely great narrative and I found a new voice to dream to!!

Keeps your interest

Sometimes mysteries can come off dorky or unbelievable but the writer did a great job making the story as realistic as possible. It was suspenseful, romantic, mysterious and had a lot of spicy moments.
It gets dark towards the end but all the twists and reveals are good!
