Where does NIV Audio Bible (Dramatized) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have boys aged 10 and 12 who prefer this dramatized version over some other versions they have heard. It is best for a cover to cover listen as it is tedious to locate specific books and chapters quickly. There are 26 different downloads I believe, each around 3 hours long.

What other book might you compare NIV Audio Bible (Dramatized) to and why?

We have listened to other audio Bibles online. I wanted one my children could download since I supervise their time on the web.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This is not a text we would listen to in one sitting. My boys listen to about 9 chapters at a time.

I purchased with an Audible credit and found it to be a great value.

A tremendous dramatized Bible

I really appreciated this dramatized reading of the Bible. I have read through the Bible many times and love it. This helped it become even more alive for me. It is a very helpful version of God's story of reality.

The Best Audio Bible; Only One Concern

It's easy to listen to and I love the dramatics. Well done for sure.

It was really nice to have the pdf attachment. However, it lacked one major component: Section Numbers that coordinate with the Scripture Reference. With a bible, because it is so big, an index with specific scripture references is an absolute necessity. Listeners are required to listen to multiple Sections to be able to go to a specific scripture and this is very tedious.

Can't get enough. I keep reading and listening to this book over and over and learning more every time. Amazing!

Truly a blessing to have an audio version of the scripture.

Super hard to navigate on download but good

I strongly suggest Zondervan's physical CD set.

The audio download on audible labels everything by chapters. So 1189 "chapters", but these do not align with the books/chapters in the bible... so it's difficult to navigate. I downloaded to listen to the Book of Daniel and it's going to take me a while to find it. I'm extremely familiar with the CD set, so it won't be bad.

The word of God rendered beautifully and clearly through the NIV version. The recording is done perfectly. All the narrator brings not only the character alive but makes the message easy to understand and follow. Music flows along with the reading without overpowering the narration.

It is not playing

I got to listen to the tapes over and over two times but now it will not play at all. I am not getting any sounds it tells me to contact the office. I enjoyed it but that is not playing. I cannot get it to play over and over and over it all.
