Eram în momentul acela la Paris, secretar general al unei institutii românesti benevole care se numea Casa Româneasca, si, impresionati peste masura de ce se întâmplase la Bucuresti în decembrie 1989, am hotarât sa venim la Bucuresti cu niste masini, aducând în tara lucruri care lipseau partidelor, universitatilor.

Dar riscul cel mare este sa te deprinzi cu increderea lor absoluta intr-un viitor care tie, celui venit de acolo, din viitorul in care credeau ei atat de frumos, iti strange inima. Daca ajungi sa crezi si tu in el, ca ei, reintoarcerea acasa ar putea fi plina de dezamagiri si regrete.
