EXPATransformation is the first non-fiction offering by historical fiction author, Michael Durham Sanford. 2) Connecting the Dots in our lives and how you need to simply trust & have faith that it will all work out OK.
3) Discovering what you LOVE to do and doing THAT! Michael skillfully maps Jobs’ three stories into the life lessons of his and his family’s more than century-long EXPAT experience, with numerous captivating stories about courage, faith, love, loss, death, and living life to the fullest…as if there were no tomorrow! The stories Michael shares of his and other EXPATs’ journeys demonstrate the benefits that they all realized by escaping from life’s dreaded… “same old, same old.”
Michael says from the get-go that this is NOT so much a “how-to” book but rather is more of an “if-to” look at what aspects of human nature call out to a person to take the giant leap forward and leave the country of his/her birth, finding new adventures, opportunities, success, fulfillment, and love along their own personal EXPAT journey. Michael reminds us that all journeys of a thousand leagues begin with that ever-important and sometimes quite challenging first step. And as he explains from the outset, even if embracing the EXPAT life doesn’t seem to be for YOU, perhaps it could be EXACTLY the thing for someone you love!
