Yes, there are books about lean; yes, there are books about construction management; and yes, there are books about the skills of a superintendent, but there are none that cover the art of the builder in construction and the back-to-basics fundamental attributes of a true leader in the field.

This is the first edition of the book we need and want for our wonderful builders in the field of construction. This book is filled with principles and actionable steps for assistant superintendents. I invite you to learn these, take massive action, and implement each step one-by-one. Please keep driving until everything on your project brings you joy. That is the measure of success. Basic fundamentals

To myself this was a review of the basic fundamentals of construction practices to push you to improve.

Well thought out and easy to listen

As I'm getting ready to make the life change of going from a self employed general contractor to being an assistant superintendent for a large commercial construction company, I wanted to take in everything I could to make me a competent member of a big and well established team.

I've now listened to this book twice and also purchased a physical copy so I can read it and absorb it even better. It is well written and easy to listen to, and delivers the principles of what it takes to be a great superintendent.

I think every current and future super needs to read this book a few times and put into practice the principles explained in Elevating Superintendents. It also provides other recommended reading, which I've also downloaded and listened to, before re-listening to this book.

This is a Gift To Construction

There is so much valuable content in this book that it left me wanting to know more. I would love to see small spin-offs diving deeper into topics like logistics planning, last planner, etc.

I’m about to begin my first job in construction as a field engineer and I was extremely encouraged by this book! Jason does a great job of explaining what it takes to be a successful superintendent and shows practical ways to elevate excellence, leadership and overall health in the field! Do not Handicap your self as a construction manager by foregoing the reading of this book.

I’m one of those guys that spends a lot of time in details. I truly feel that it’s each person‘s obligation that walks the earth to be a better person than they were the day before, this in the Spirit of personal growth and good custodianship. Mundane tasks made more important

Pointed out some really good key factors that we don't always think about even though they're in the back of our mind and it allows me too see the true importance of superintendence position or role on the job site with coordination and allows me more ability to strive to wanna be at that top level of superintendent

Great Guide and Helpful for Organizing Thoughts

This book is extremely useful to help organize day to day priorities and responsibilities for a superintendent. Also it helps list a lot of good topics to research to learn proper scheduling methods and best practices, which my company (a large GC firm) seems to have trouble providing actual training or details on. The only thing that I think would be beneficial for the audiobook version is maybe a pdf giving lists of the books recommended, steps for meetings, types of schedules to implement, etc. to avoid having to take notes while listening to the book

Covers to much information.

To many rules to be remembered. seems like it would be hard to remember all of them.
