Sweet Romance !

I really liked the gist of the story- a happily ever after second chance romance. The characters were relatable even though a bit one dimensional. I loved the setting as I have had San Juan Islands on my bucket list of travel for awhile. Tammy Grace's description of Friday Island just made me more determined to see the Islands sooner rather than later. I think I would have liked a little less narrative and more dialog between characters. I think that would have helped to develop the people.
I was disappointed by the performance, however. Unfortunately, Karen Rose Richter's extremely cheerful but monotone reading began to grate on me less than a third of the way through. I would have given up on this selection except I really wanted to finish the book. I may have to read the rest of the series rather than listen if the narrator remains the same!

Couldn't put down! Despite her life falling apart just when it should have been at its best. She took a chance. A year can make a whole lot of difference! Great read!

Delightful!

Finding Home is a sweet, quick story with a great mix of love and laughter thrown in. The characters are well-drawn and the story is very well-written. The author manages to give us the perfect blend of sizzle and sweet, along with laugh out loud moments. There's a fundamental truth for all of us. In order to be found, we must first be lost.
The narration is beautifully done by Karen Rose Richter. Her dynamic voice, perfect pace and modulation bring each of the characters to life.

A sweet romance

This was a sweet romance about recently divorced Sam whose life has kicked her around until the cusp of 50 when she makes a completely new start by moving to her vacation home, buying a new business, and joining a small community. She finally finds a place where she can call home along with the love of her life.

Enjoyed reading about a city I’ve been too

Good cute book. The author has everyone taking so every businessy and professional- even to her friends and eventual bf. I don’t know anyone that is that proper always. It just took a litttle away from the book. For example, as a business woman you talk one way to clients but you’re more relaxed w friends and the author never got on a deeper level w her friends.

I enjoyed this first book in the "Hometown Harbor" series, the characters were very believable and the setting was imaginative.
