A great litRPG about a dire wolf in a dire world

Imagine a dying world with lots of garbage, with animals and creatures trying to survive.

There are lots of rats in this world. To get an idea, look up the radio drama Three Skeleton Key by Vincent Price. A great horror story with many rats. Fleabag has more rats and the horror is kicked up a notch.

The wolf fights rats, humans and the environment, but turns out as a likable, smart main character. Highly recommended.

great narration

The narration stays on point with a planned volume and tone schema throughout the book. No popping Ps and no buzzing Ss.

The non-human MC is pretty good also. I could have done without some side character story arcs being shoehorned in, but it doesn't really detract too bad, and I'm sure they are part of the universe.

in the top 3

this is probably the second or third best litrpg out there. dark gritty. no comedy releife character. not too many stats and such. mysteries that may or may not be a explained. side stories that you may or may not get to hear. in short, it feels like a living breathing world. I really hope the author keeps writing because this series is amazing.

the monster MC

so far fleabag is a pretty good book the evolution is interesting the mechanics are decent it's probably one of the few books that I've heard that has a monster with a heart storyline that I can recommend

Litrpg meets horror

The audible is a great break from the casual/comedic formula. The author paints extremely descriptive scenes. This book has become one of my top three litrpgs and I am hopeful the author continues to write great quality work in the future. The narrator was perfect for this book, the guttural wolf speech was bone chilling!

A dark and original LitRPG

A very engaging addition to the genre. It’s an unkind world, so be aware of bloody violence, and unkindness from those in power. General theme is “who is the monster, really “, the shunned and disempowered showing kindness.

Good and grimy

It’s nice to have a litRPG on the darker side. I became really invested in the main character and the secondary one. Really excited for the next volume.

HardToForget

I read and listen to almost exclusively litRPG and isakai. This is solid work and if the author ever puts out another book then I am sure to get it.

To the Author, I saw the hiatus notice. I have no clue what you are going through, but you should be proud of this book. This story will be hard to forget and so will you.
