Mack Wiebe wanted to leave an oral history of his life for his grandkids. He sat down and started to write. As his memories flooded back, he wrote more, a lot more in a wonderful raconteur style. It all started growing up in poverty in the Great Northwest during the 1940s, then being in the Army during the Korean War, followed by football, coaching, golf, a fantastic string of luck, and a roaring ride of entrepreneurship.
Yes, Mack’s grandkids have the opportunity to read and now to hear, in detail, what stock they are from. For others, this audiobook could be a fun listen about a life full of surprises, heart-warming experiences, and a life worth the re-telling.

Audio version is great!
I had previously read the book and enjoyed learning about the history of Mack’s life and quite an amazing and interesting life it has been. What a treasure to leave for his kids and grandkids. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to listen to audio version of the book too with Mack’s good friend, Alan, reading the story. He has a great voice and listening really brought it to life for me.
