Robots have terrible accents.

Having lived in Paris I am very familiar with pronunciation. I can't tell if this is a robot but the pronunciation/accent is horrendous and if you try to imitate don't be surprised if no one understands you!

too technical, not for learning basic french

if you are interested in learning structure, all the technical parts of the language, this book is for you. if you are looking to learn basic french, look elsewhere.

too fast

This is the second french book I purchased - it's way too fast. The pronunciation is incorrect or just too fast that you can't catch up. I changed the speed on my kindle - but that made way too slow..

Not a good practice tool

honestly, the narrator talks at you like he's in a rush. There is no fine tuning of pronunciation nor practice of the material beyond stating something once and moving on. I realize that this is more of a personal preference but the voice of the narrator is rather grating as well.

Not even worth a star.

I’m a beginner French speaker living in Paris and even I can hear the mistakes in this book.

French accent a bit off

some phrases sounded more German than French. they should have used a native speaker. the phrases they did cover were reasonable beginning phrases in conversation

useless. my first purchase. useless.

absolutely useless. Just rushes through the lessons. Maybe book was useful. but as an audio book, doesn't work at all. Need repetition for beginners.
