A great combination of science and story

The narrator was good. The story was pretty good, but it might have been even better if different parts related to each other more. Instead the story's different parts often are more distantly related to each other. aside from that I give it a five star rating. Pretty cool to see the story from Frightful's point of view, and I even learned some things about peregrine falcons! 💖😀👍💎 ✨💯:-)
P.S. If Jean Craighead George is reading this please make a story about Mister Freeze the owl. Thank you!

Great Story, slow listen

The book is great, I teach 6th grade and the students all loved the recording and story, but I always played at 1.1 or 1.2 speed because otherwise it really drags.

I'm just confused why the narrator chose to pronounce Delhi differently in this book. It seems like such a small issue but it's enough for me not to finish.. Great book though I thoroughly enjoy it..

A very nice perspective

I loved learning about falcons and how they go about their life. This book has a lot of closure, happy moments, and scares. I recommend it whole heartedly. It is my favorite book of my favorite series.

Love this story!

The narrated took a bit to get used to but loved the story!!!!! I remember reading this book at my grandpas and I love listening to it now.

A Welcome Return to Frightful

Frightful's Mountain is a satisfying end to this trilogy that I enjoyed so much more than the second book in the series (On the Far Side of the Mountain), mainly because it's a welcome return to the writing style of the first book (My Side of the Mountain), with the engaging addition that much of it is from Frightful's viewpoint. Yes, it's an anthropomorphized view, but it still makes for a gratifying and rewarding read. I also had the added benefit of learning that peregrine falcon chicks are called eyases and a male peregrine falcon is called a tiercel!

Mispronunciation otherwise well done

The pronunciation of the name of the town of Delhi in the Catskill Mts. of Delaware County is incorrect. It should be DEL-high (accent on first syllable) and the second is pronounced “high” not “lee”. It is used multiple times in the recording as in the name of the city in India or a place to buy coldcuts. Otherwise, it is a very nice performance of a wonderful book.
