What A Beautiful Story

Second chances at love and life in their mid 40’s. What a great way to wrap up a series!

Dom got a second chance at living a full life by settling down in Lomand. He found a great job that turned into a huge extended family as well.

Chase found Hannah, which led to Dom finding Cherry and both couples sliding into love full throttle style!

Chase is the epitome of a cinnamon roll hero and while Dom is a bit more gruff he is so happy with Cherry and works with her anxieties and stressors. Doesn’t push her too far too fast.

They work so well together as a couple and she blended really well personality wise with the rest of the garage family.

This gem had some sad tears and happy tears moments at the end. But so heart warming overall.

This gem was narrated by John Lane and Maxine Mitchell. Another great narration pairing.

Sweet Romance!

This is the fifth and last book in the Reynolds Restorations series. I love this series. I read it, and loved it. The audiobook version is great! Dom and Cherry's story is beautifully written, and engaging. The storyline is sweet, heartwarming, and emotional. Maxine Mitchell and John Lane did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this series.

Full Throttle, an Audiobook by Melanie Moreland is the story of Dom and Cherry. These two are mature adults, so this book has a bit of a different tone than the norm….which isn’t a bad thing!! Cherry works as a hair stylist, has a child, and realizes that things have to change for her. Dom has watched her from afar for a while now…and is finally convinced to meet her. So…he decides he needs a trim!

I loved the storyline here and the differing approach to romance when the couple involved are a bit older…not much…just a bit. The problems are different, more serious, life-altering, and important…and REAL. These two had me completely immersed in their world and I loved it!!

This Audiobook was fantastically narrated by John Lane and Maxine Mitchell, whose spot-on performances helped elevate a book that was ALREADY in the stratosphere! They captured the mood, the emotions, the depth of character, and the romance…beautifully!!!

I love this story!

Yes! Yes! Yes! All the stars for these talented performers. John and Maxine kept me company throughout the day while I adulted. They made my day fly and I can’t thank them enough for my listening pleasure. They truly brought Dom and Cherry’s book to reality. I know I say that each and every time this pair narrates a book together but they are just superior in what they do. They can do no wrong, but together they hit epic levels of awesomeness. I felt all the emotions through John’s tenor and in Maxine’s cadence. This is a must listen to audiobook. I loved the ebook but the audio surpassed all my expectations.

Unexpected goodness.

Boy, this book took me by surprise. I thought I was going to read something sweet and call it the day. I wasn’t expecting for Full Throttle to be chuck full of surprises. The way the author walked me through the story was a delightful surprise, this book had me in my feelings and I found myself so engrossed in the story that I forgot to eat lunch. There were so many great things about this story, it’d take me a long time to write a review and difficult not to give anything away. Please read this book, it’s worth your time.

Love Cherry G and Dom

Aww this story was AMAZING. It is a later in life romance and I’m a sucker for those. This one was so good! It was the perfect weekend read. Dom really was in Full Throttle but Cherry G didn’t stay behind for too much. The chemistry between them was really good, the passion incredible and the laughter moments on point. I love it so much specially reading about all the Reynolds Family. They are all amazing, reading about them in this story was definitely a good throw back moment with each of the character. And the audiobook was totally perfect John and Maxine did an excellent performance as always. John made me cry in one scene… I wasn’t expecting those feelings reading this book lol. It was definitely the perfect end of the series.

Beautiful and incredibly heartfelt

This story was beautiful and incredibly heartfelt, Dom and Cherry's romance almost felt like a dream. Raw genuineness and huge swoon worthy feels are skillfully combined to generate a heavy-hitting one-two punch straight to your heart. Cherry and Dom each had a few miles on them and the baggage to prove it. I felt passionately for both of them and was quite avid in my desire for them to get the HEA they so richly deserved. I'm sad to say goodbye to this amazing series and all the beloved characters that fill it, but happily this book wrapped everything up perfectly with wonderful feels, sweetness, humor, drama, heart and spice. The narration was very well done and made getting fully immersed in this book sinfully easy.

a great addition to the series

I love getting to read whatever Melanie Moreland writes, but I especially love getting to go back to the Reynold's Restoration series! The whole crew is so much fun and I love the found family aspect so much. This is Dom and Cherry's story, but you do get to see the couples/characters from the previous books too.

Dom and Cherry are both in their 40's which is older than most romance novel lead characters I have seen. I really liked that as being in your 40's is unique. You've lived a lot and may be pretty established in life, but that doesn't mean you're stagnant or your life isn't interesting. Dom and Cherry were both really interesting characters and I liked seeing how their relationship developed and their lives came together. They formed a great connection and I liked the dual POV quite a bit. You really get to see that mutual attraction and how they each approached their relationship.

As always, Melanie's writing is easy to read and engaging, and the story hooked me from the very beginning. I enjoyed both the ebook and audiobook versions quite a bit. The narrators were well cast and did an excellent job. I cannot recommend this book and series enough!

Last of the series

John and Maxine bring Dom and Cherry to life. Love this series so much. I’m sad to see them go.
