The seminar version was sought out by Ford Motor Co. and made available to all associates. He is a former award-winning Dale Carnegie Leadership Coach, consultant to Fortune 500 companies, martial arts instructor, an Air Force veteran, and currently a life coach.
Over the last four decades, Powers has created and presented performance-improvement programs impacting more than 400,000 people in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
As a father of three daughters, today Mr. Powers lives outside of Detroit rehabilitating a mid-century home on the Rouge River. In the wee hours, he composes music and plays guitar, mostly to his finicky rescue cat, Binks.

An operating manual for living a great life…
This audiobook is full of ideas for achieving greater success in life and getting unstuck from the inevitable challenges. I’ve certainly heard some of these ideas before, but I really liked the way he put it all together in a simple, easy to use system. I also like how he recaps every chapter at the end covering all the important points. I’ll be listening to this more than one time…
