The Amsihria of the north, an elusive sect of women responsible for taming Eile's powerful weather, are under attack by a horrible monster from another realm. With the help of his sister and her companions, Cade embarks on a journey that will take him beyond the edge of the Weald and further away from Meghan. Along the way he will be forced to contend with the Morrigan's continuous assaults as well as his own doubts and fears, all the while knowing that the young woman he's grown to love remains vulnerable in the mortal world.

I'm hooked!!!

Ms. Johnson has created a beautifully written compelling series that hooked me from the very beginning. I seldom go on an purchase the sequels but could not help myself and had to purchase the next book and then the next until I'd purchased the whole series...so far.

I absolutely am in love 💘 with the character Cade. The entire series is captivating but, Michael Ferraiuolo's narration was truly memorizing, so much, so that I had to buy the next audible book he performed and re-read them both listening to his performance from Cade's point of view. The Celtic accent he performs is wonderful and made Cade more realistic and actually made the character feel like a living person. If the series was made into a film I believe it could be as popular as the "Hunger Game" movie franchise. A Must Read!!!
