Good Story

Although there are mixed reviews on this one I enjoyed it. The narration was good, I mean Joe Arden and Ava Erickson of course it would be. I could see how easily this could be a series with lots of interesting characters having there own backstory.

Brilliant storytelling

loved the story but the readers what really made the story. good pacing and drama. and smut was fantastic.

Enjoyable

The story was easy reading and enjoyable. It was nice to see how two characters from vastly different backgrounds could have so much in common and really see each other. I really enjoyed how the relationship between Mac and all the “townies” grew throughout the book and how she found her own two feet in the process.

Cute Predictable Story

Cute story of opposites attract. Liked the main Characters but ending felt a short. I didn't believe the ex or her parents would just walk away without a dirty fight though. Joe Arden is perfect as always. Swoon.

Hopeful

I listened to this book with my lovely wife. I hope there are more books with the two main characters. We really enjoyed it.

Good story

I enjoyed the story overall, but the ending was a little abrupt. I’m hoping we get to see more of this couple in the next book.

If you love Elle Kennedy…skip this one

Not worth a credit. Lots of unnecessary angst, and the story really dragged on. I typically fly through her books but I struggled to finish. Characters are annoying and don’t have many redeeming or compelling traits

Good start to a new series

I love Elle Kennedy's books and was a little worried when I peeked at a few reviews on Goodreads. I don't know why I even did that because I really enjoyed this book! I'm excited for all stories that can come out of this friend group. The only thing I didn't enjoy was Joe Arden. I hate to even say that 😞 He has such a nice voice and I love so many things he's narrated! His narration just fell flat for me. I kind of wish Ava Erickson had read the entire book. Her voice fit the characters and story for me.

A good summer love!

The characters are likeable, there’s just enough back story on the characters and pplease let us not forget there is a HOT set of twins who represent the bad and good boys. Loved it and will recommend for anyone who enjoys reading romance on a beach. FYI the love scenes are spicy
