Dickens' themes include wealth and poverty, love and rejection, and the eventual triumph of good over evil. "Great Expectations" (popular both with readers and literary critics) has been translated into many languages and adapted numerous times into various media.
Artist Bio Author: Charles Dickens (1812-1870) was an English writer and social critic. He created some of the world's best-known fictional characters and is regarded as the greatest novelist of the Victorian era.
