Scary and sad, but oh so true.
I enjoyed the story but at times it was difficult to listen to because it was very scary. The descriptions of the abuse that the young boy was subjected to was quite disturbing. Well narrated.

I’m so glad I kept going
Some stories are too hard to listen. I thought this was going to be one of those in the opening. I’m so glad that I kept going. After that initial hesitation, I couldn’t stop and finished in a 24 hour period. This is a great story of goodness, strength and survival, mixed in with some harsh realities.

Not stupendous, but still a great story.
I'm sure I will play this one again. Didn't make me cry, didn't scare me. Just held my interest to the end. I had no problem with the narrating, all voices were clear a quote realistic to me.

Nice Story
I enjoyed the story. Easy to listen to while I sew. I get disappointed in stories when they leave out prayer. I believe turning to a higher power is in our DNA during stressful situations.
