So fun

This was a really cute book! You really end up like Dora and Elias! I’m glad that I gave it a try.

Great story

The characters were awesome! The story moved at a good pace and the ending was perfect.

I wasn’t expecting to like this

At first I thought this book would be kinda stupid and childish, but after the first 20-30 minutes I really got into the story. The characters so very interesting and dynamic. I really enjoyed how the plot developed and how the author attempted to show a narrative not normally shown in this type of book or time period.

Historical fantasy seems a little silly, but I think this was really well done. Definitely will read again.

I am so glad I found this book and its wonderful storytelling! 🩷 I am so in love with how Madeleine makes you feel every emotion.

A little short in my opinion

It was a little short, I wish they had expanded on the romance between the two main characters a bit more but other than that I really enjoyed the book to the end. I would definitely recommend

Whitty and Funny

Loved the characters and their growth through the story. Their interactions together were funny and touching at times.

An absolute dream

The perfect mixture of Howl’s Moving Castle and Pride & Prejudice! How could it be anything but 5 stars?! This best book I’ve read this year by far; I’ve already listened to it 2x this past month.
