But Maddie doesn't know Saff's secret. She doesn't know where she came from—what she was. And Saff will do anything, especially lie, to get the medication she needs.

The absolute last thing she needs is to fall for some smart-ass rich girl who will get in the way of that.

It was great!

Great story and excellent narration! I usually not a big fan of zombie stories, but I saw many good reviews and I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed! Highly recommended.

wlw post apocalypse books

are wlw zombie apocalypse books too niche of a favorite book genre? Not only does this book fulfill my absolutel yearning for books in this category, but it’s actually so good. the characters were so well written, especially showing their hardships with their medical conditions and how they are able to live in their current world. am i even allowed to complain that i wish it was longer….

I absolutely loved this book

This book is amazing and I highly recommend it. I read it once before on kindle unlimited and loved it then but something about the audiobook made me just really get emotional with it. The characters are relatable and Maddie’s character was done really well. You can definitely tell the author did a lot of research going into this.

The first part of the book is a tiny bit boring but stick with it!!! I personally don’t mind but I know that others would wish it was a little more fast pace at the beginning.

I like how a lot of things are implied and go by feelings. You really have to use your imagination for how Saff looks because most of her features are not described but I like that. It makes the book less lust driven.

The first kiss scene was so hot I was literally freaking out and had to re listen to it and the spice scenes were done perfectly. They were done from a slightly different perspective which made it very hot and more interesting.

Story and Narration,

Outstanding book. Constant challenge and suspense leaving you literally on the edge of your seat. This book had excellent detail and overall an amazing love story. As for the narrator, Lori Prince, A+. I have listened to most of her narrated books and her acting truly brings a beautiful story to life, pulling out all of the emotions from a reader. Cudos to the author and to the performer!

Characters!

Omg literally was crying with Maddie whew love this book. I hope maybe there is more of these two amazing characters loved the story!!! I hope we get more books soon.

Loyalty beyond pain

This is a great story that personifies the protectiveness of a great love and a selflessness that can occur when survival and responsibility is taken to that great loving place.
As always with the narration of Lori Prince, I’m astounded by her talent and depth of emotion her voice details.

This is a story of survival, love, and great emotion.
I highly recommend.

Please give this book a chance!!

First I just want to say I’ve read this book multiple times. Nicole is my favorite author and when I saw that my favorite narrator Lori Prince was doing the audiobook I didn’t hesitate to order it. I didn’t think it was even possible to make me fall in love more with this book but wow did Lori bring it to another level. She added so much emotion to it and I think it’s her best performance. If you haven’t read this book please read it. Nicole does an amazing job at making you fall in love with the characters. Her ability to make two characters fall in love so organically and beautifully is just something you don’t get often in sapphic books. It isn’t instalove and the slow burn for once is worth it! The story is rich in adventure and suspense. Please read!!! Nicole also has another book called Losing Sam, please go give that book a read as well you won’t be disappointed. Now hopefully Lori will narrate that one!! ❤️ thank you Nicole for writing my top two favorite books!!!

Pulled me inside their world

I’ve never written a review before. But I just couldn’t not on this. One of my favourite narrators, Lori really pulled you in to every heart thudding moment. So well written. You fall in love with the characters instantly and feel everything they feel in that moment. I’ll just keep re-reading and listening until it’s made into a film. Please!…
