The Foster family has breathed life into their ancestral farm by coaxing the beautiful land and cliff side views of Lake Michigan into a majestic golf course known as Bingham Shores. Along with a world-class golf course, the property boasts a century-old restaurant, known for romantic themes and now a mystery. An old Bible found in the restaurant’s attic reveals a treasure map connected to the former farm. As word of the map spreads and speculation of the treasure mounts, new faces emerge in town and neighbors start looking at each other differently.
Lucas had always been curious about his family history. Velma was never forthcoming with the truth about him being raised here. When Kate arrived in town seeking a reunion with him, Velma admamently opposed it. When Lucas finally agrees to a meeting, he finds out the truth of his past, with the shelter he had been granted being the biggest blessing.
Kate has a law degree, but is better known as an investigator that helps put families back together. She knows that her work with adoptions, divorces, and other such social challenges can have lasting effects on kids and even adults. She came to Bingham Shores tracking Lucas down using her investigative skills.
Will Kate undo the harm this reunion may bring to not only Lucas, but to his employers, the Fosters?
