Story just dies? Not a good way to END a book.

Can they fulfill the terms of the will?

This book features the interesting concept of two people needing to get married in order to fulfill a will written by match making parents. Olivia and Noah's father started a company together that became immensely successful. After not keeping up with the times, the company is falling into the red. In order for the two to inherit their fathers' shares in the company, they must get married.

Noah is a playboy and has been interested in Olivia for years. Olivia is a driven business woman with one focus: saving the company. While Noah is okay with fulfilling the terms of the will by marrying Olivia, she is incredibly hesitant. When it becomes clear that the only way to save the company will be through the two getting married, Olivia agrees to a trial period.

In this book we get to meet Olivia's jerk of an ex who desperately wants to take over her company - by any means necessary.

The book ends in a huge cliffhanger with neither Olivia nor Noah happy. I really enjoyed the performance by Ava Erickson and Teddy Hamilton. I love when a book told from both the female and male protagonists' perspectives is narrated by coinciding narrators.

Volume one had me hooked, but I was pretty sure I expected the cliffhanger at the end. Narration was great. Ava Erickson was perfect and I love Teddy Hamilton's voice.

Oh My GOD!!

What a BOOK! Can I say “cliffhanger!”
I am so Team Noah: so far. I feel his pain and NOT happy with this cliffhanger but I am open minded and cannot wait to read/listen to what happens Next!!

cliffhanger alert! I want more!

I was doubtful in the beginning but I ended up really getting into it. I need to find out what happens next.

Fast pace but packs a punch

Great story, and some truly touching and raw emotion moments. I enjoyed it and recommend it. Narration is great!

an effing cliffhanger..............

Some chapters are one liners only. Chapter 5 is literally just "game on" and no other words. Seriously?!
Some parts are so shallow.

I wouldn't make a client wait that long if my company needs her business badly.

Fantastic

I LOVED everything about this book; the banter, the friendship, the swoon-worthy moments and the heartbreak. This story has combustible chemistry, sexual tension, and angst, all paired with so much shared history that you can feel the depth of the relationship between Noah & Olivia. I love the fake relationship trope & this one does not disappoint. I let out an audible GASP at one point while listening to this, complete with hands flying to my face in shock. And that speaks to just how well this author gets her readers wrapped up in the story. Ava Erickson & Teddy Hamilton are fabulous narrators and voice artists. They do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this audiobook.

Fair warning…this is a 3 part series but thankfully, all the books have released and I don’t have to wait for the next book.

Arrrgh…..It was good

I liked this book. Noah’s character had the most depth to start with but finally as Olivia’s starts to have more dimension it ends abruptly. Yes a cliff hanger.

Be warned though you should buy and read the books to finish the story unless those characters you finally got to know are destroyed by the next two books’ narrator. His voice is gruff and nothing like the almost gentle Noah of this book. Olivia’s voice isn’t even there.

Book unfinished

The story line was good but the author only finished half of it. Very disappointing ending.
