To do so, she revives the ancient Eleusinian mysteries, rituals that saved ancient Athenians from extinction at death. As she anticipates, the rites work, but their use puts her in Gaia’s crosshairs. Artemis and Apollo, Dionysos, Hephaistos, and other divinities see her as “the new wave” in the gods’s development, and provide assistance. Her attempts to ease human suffering set us up for one of the greatest love stories of all time.

wonderful story and fantastic narrator

I loved it! I am new to podcasts and audiobooks and I have found that not only does the story to be highly interesting the narrator and he or she voice is the key to keep me listening after a few seconds. This audiobook has all the qualities that I need and want. Patrick Garner has the perfect voice that brings his stories to life and within five minutes of listening I have purchased the rest of his books that complete his homodivinitus trilogy. Thank you so much I have not picked up a book in 10 years....until now.

A must for lovers of mythology

Continues from book 1 and 2 in the series, but I found it great to listen to as a standalone. I love mythology, both Norse, Greek, Roman and Egyptian. In this story we learn how Gods also have human frailties such as love, happiness and loss. So if you are into mythology like myself, I recommend this.

Don’t Miss Out

A fun novel about the divine branch of the human family tree (and you thought it was just monkeys), with two grand love stories thrown in! Great by itself or as part of The Winnowing Trilogy by the same author.

Very interesting idea - Gods in our time

I thought this a very interesting idea. Ancient Greek Gods in our time. An author who knows his mythology and how to write a captivating story. Very enjoyable.
