Great narration and very informative

I’m very interested in horse training, and this book is very informative. Everything is explained in a very clear practical way that will be easy to implement. As long as I maintain my patience, I feel this book provides all the necessary tools to do my round pen training.

This book is descriptive and breaks down the details step by step so you can envision the guidance. A background story from the author gets you to understand where some of the inspiration came from. There is a lot information here regarding round pen training.

Excellent information and tips, pretty much covers everything you could need to know! A definite must for all equine enthusiasts

Thorough and real-life experience

I have a few friends who own horses, and I now have an appreciation for everything they do. Even though I don't own a horse, I learned a ton about how to behave around horses and all that goes into training a good horse. Overall the author did a great job of being informative and keeping the information entertaining. You will also enjoy the narrator's voice- a joy to listen to.

Inspiring and helpful

This audiobook has great advice and tips on horsemanship and it even has a step by step guide on how to apply the practice. It was short sweet and to the point and even has examples as well on how to start horsemanship. Overall it was information in this audiobook that is helpful to any beginner and it's a great listen as well.

Great for beginners!

This book was very enjoyable. I was very moved by the author's story about how his father sold off all his horses, which I thought was very sad. But I'm glad that he found his calling and his passion again: horses! Learn to understand your horse's behavior and why it does what it does.

I'm writing this historical fiction novel about this military general that rode horses and wielded swords, and I knew nothing about horses until listening to this audiobook. I realize that just ignoring the behavior of horses would not make my novel as great or authentic as it would be. I have this scene where the military general's/ the protagonist's horse gets hit by a javelin and he merely dismisses it and says get me another horse. After listening to this audiobook, I can't have my main character react like that anymore when his horse gets killed. Now that I am more knowledgeable about horses. It just wouldn't be right, if you get what I mean. Now all I need is a book on elephants. I highly recommend this book for absolute beginners of horsemanship or for just anyone that's curious about horses!

Very Helpful

I have recently been intrigued with horses and how to go about dealing with them in all ways. I have been studying quite a bit about horsemanship and this audiobook has helped me solidify some foundational education to help me as a beginner. I look forward to apply all that I learned from this audiobook to when I actually begin working with horses in the near future. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed this book and the narration. Very useful information for anyone starting out with horses. No fluff, it's straight to the point.
