When Guy finds the deed to a house in his mother's attic, it seems like an incredible stroke of luck. Sure, it hasn't been inhabited in years, and vines strangle the age-stained walls, but Guy's convinced he can clean the building up and sell it. He'd be crazy to turn down free money. Right? Rookward House may be hours away from its nearest neighbor, but he can't escape the feeling that he's being watched. Still, he doesn't believe in ghost stories and decides to camp in the crumbling old mansion while he does repairs. Surely nothing too bad can happen in the space of a week.

One of the most stupid books I've ever heard!
I rarely write a review. However, this was one of the most painfully stupid and boring books I've even had the agony of listening to. I bought it mostly because of the Narrator, but even she could not raise this banal torture device to the level of anything positive. Please, please don't put yourself through listening to the main character state she loves her husband whom she has only known for a few days, and during those few days, she only saw him briefly—or listening to her wax about how he calls her "darling" when he has only said more than ten words to her. I could go on and on but I can't wait to be rid of its taste in my mouth or ears.
