Great Wisdom

This book, is along the same lines with a lot of Gino's books. They are very pragmatic and simple. I appreciate that they have not expanded this book beyond what it really needed to be. There are some very powerful, practical and simple things that can be implemented with this one.

Highly highly recommended for anyone in management and leadership.

Delegate and elevate

The concept is so simple, yet I have been so busy doing all the jobs I never thought about it. I was frustrated with staff, but the problem was as much me as them. I allowed them to bring me their issues/problems and I solved their problems for them or took over their tasks. This book, very simply, lays out, step by step how to take care of your employees and yet make them be accountable for their responsibilities. How to approach employees, how to build better connections and systems for better results and it is a very quick read. I highly recommend it, especially if you are overwhelmed with how much work you have, frustrated with staff and are suffering from burnout. In just 3 months we have 18% higher productivity. The strategies in the book are not always easy to implement initially, but once you get some momentum it becomes easier and the good team members start becoming more appreciative. The bad ones start to leave (that alone is changing the environment in our office, feels more relaxed and collaborative). We are actually accomplishing more with less stress. It’s a great read.

Real instructions that can be applied in real business life.

I love the material and voear, specific instructions. The reader was a little fast paced.

Practical and inspiring

This is my very first audio book. It's very well organized and practical. The messages are very clear and easy to follow. I definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking to improve or build leadership skill. I will keep listening continuously.
